Hard Disk Recorder (DTR / DVR / PVR)
A hard disk recorder can go by the initials DTR, DVR, PVR and tomorrow someone will probably think of a new acronym for the
service provided by these useful devices.
In the case of watching television, a hard disk recorder allows us to record a television show onto a hard disk for playback later.
In contrast to ageing VHS video tape recorders, there is a greater quality of recorded material, the records are more durable, it is easier
to search for the part of the recording you want to watch and the length of recording is far greater due to the capacity of modern hard disk drives.
In the case of CCTV, a hard disk recorder is even more ingenious.
The latest models can record up to 36 high quality camera signals simultaneously.
These video streams can be searched and played back instantly when an incident occurs. Again, compared to
CCTV video recorders, hard disk has the advantage with increased
recording capacity, quality and durability.
Hard disk recorders can be used with any of the television services we supply. Please Contact Us for more information.
